*The 2018 ranking of Forbes’ Best-In-State Next Generation Wealth Advisors1 recognizes advisors born in 1980 or later with a minimum of four years of experience. Advisors were rated based on a proprietary algorithm of qualitative and quantitative criteria: assets under management, revenues generated for their firms, client retention, industry experience, credentials, and compliance records. SHOOK Research also employs an opinion-based weighting system that prioritizes its preferred “best practices,” which include business models, activities, processes, and structure. Overall, 5,832 advisors were considered, and 1,000 (17 percent of candidates) were recognized. Click here for the full methodology that Forbes developed in partnership with SHOOK Research. This recognition and the due-diligence process conducted are not indicative of the advisor’s future performance. Your experience may vary. You are encouraged to conduct your own research to determine if the advisor is right for you. Portfolio performance is not a criterion due to varying client objectives and lack of audited data. SHOOK does not receive a fee in exchange for rankings.

Brian Reichenbach, JD, CFP®, CDFA®

Co-Founder & COO

Every day, I get to come into the office and focus all my energy on achieving the best possible outcomes for our clients.

I am often asked how I became a financial planner after spending the time necessary to graduate from law school and become an attorney. While that background is beneficial in many ways, I had a difficult time coming to terms with the adversarial nature of the legal world. I am very grateful to focus myself entirely on the best interests of not only our clients but everyone who cross my path. I am proud to surround myself with a team of dedicated, service-minded professionals, and I consider myself extremely fortunate that we have the opportunity to positively impact our world every day.

I was born in Ohio and came to Nashville in 2008. I have degrees from Miami University (Ohio) and Vanderbilt Law School. I am also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, and hold various other industry designations.

While in law school, I was very fortunate to meet my wife, Allison. We now live in Brentwood with our daughter (Evelyn), black Lab (Barkley), and cat (Boots). When I find some free time, I enjoy playing basketball, cycling, or sitting quietly with a good book or crossword puzzle.

Carly Oliver

Director of Operations

I joined the team by total happenstance. After graduating from the University of Tennessee, I decided to go on random interviews just for the practice. I ended up taking a job with Chris to have something professional on my resumé while planning to attend grad school. Many years later, I am working with amazing people (a few have been added since it was just the two of us) and absolutely loving what I do. It is a testament to how great Chris and Brian are that I completely changed my career path to stay with them. Under their leadership, I truly believe we are, and will continue to be, making a positive difference in the lives of so many.

When I’m not bragging about my coworkers, I enjoy reading, playing soccer, and spending as much time as I possibly can with my dog, Lila. I also have the best nephews, Cayden and Easton, who I get to spoil regularly. Because I am originally from North Carolina, I am a big Duke fan. You’ll also find me cheering for the Vols when they aren’t breaking my heart.

I mostly work behind the scenes on operations but jump in wherever it's needed. I love learning and make that a priority in my career. Our team consists of very talented and intelligent individuals that keep me on my toes.

Katya Quandt

Financial Planning Analyst

I grew up in Belarus and moved to the United States in 2003. Since then, I have graduated from the University of Kansas with a master's of science degree in finance, as well as a BBA degree from the University of Wisconsin with a concentration in finance, investments, and banking. These courses have provided me with a strong background needed to have a successful career in financial analysis.

I realized my passion for wanting to help others with their finances when I began my first job as a bank teller. After we became a military family (my husband, Dan, is a captain in the Army), I noticed too many soldiers making bad financial decisions, and I decided to make a career helping people with their long-term financial goals. I spent the past few years working in investment compliance and joined Chris and Brian as a paraplanner in 2019. I am very grateful for the opportunity to be a part of a team that helps people make good investment decisions for not only themselves but their families and community as well.

As a mom myself, I have shared the importance of thinking long-term with my kids. My daughter, Valentina, has opened her first bank account at the age of 7 and says she wants to save for a car. My son, Alex, also understands the importance of having some money saved, just in case he needs it later. As a family, we enjoy traveling, trying local cuisine, playing board games, watching family movies, and cooking meals together. We’ve been fortunate to have the opportunity to visit multiple countries in Europe. Spain was one of our favorites because of how welcoming people were toward us. Italy was also a favorite because of the delicious food.

Kerianne Jenkins

Office Manager & Event Coordinator

Although I was born in Virginia and spent my early childhood in North Carolina, Tennessee is where I call home. In 2013, I met my husband, AJ, in jail. Our fairy tale began when he was assigned to train me on my first night on duty at the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office. I have two sons, Cayden and Easton, and a golden retriever, Boston. As a family, we love being outdoors, playing card games, and watching sports. We cheer for the Titans, Predators, Vols, and Red Sox. When I find rare moments to myself, I enjoy working in the garden and reading.

I studied nursing and criminal justice at MTSU and thought early on that I wanted to make a career fighting crime and saving the world … yes, much like a superhero. As our family grew, I realized it was important to have a job with more flexibility and less risk so that I never had to miss a baseball game or movie night. Isn’t it great how life works out? I would have never imagined myself having an office job, but working with people who inspire you to do better turns a job that would be basic and ordinary into something extraordinary.

I was blessed to join this team in October 2018 at the recommendation of my sister, Carly. Lucky doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel when I come to work each day with people who genuinely want to impact others and make a difference.
